Clearwater Beach Paddleboard Blog Page

First Clearwater Beach Paddleboard Co. Blog!

With salt on our sun kissed faces and sand in our bleached out hair, Clearwater Beach Paddleboard Company warmly welcomes you. This is the first installation of the Paddle Blog, keeping you up to date and in the surf with us here at our new flagship store located at 439 Poinsettia Ave, beautiful Clearwater Beach, Florida. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary at our new location! Although this is our second location on North Clearwater Beach, we are referring to our new store as our “Flagship” operation. Flagship, coming from nautical origins, designated the fastest, newest, most heavily armed and well known lead ship in the fleet. Clearwater Beach Paddleboard Company is blazing a trail in the salt-life lifestyle and we are heavily armed with all your beach needs. By land or by sea we are taking on the demands of vacationers and locals alike. Our fleet of Firmstrong and Yolo bikes will satisfy all your beach cruisin’ needs while our quiver of Paddleboards will get you catching waves in the Gulf or trekking the intercostal. A lot has happened this year already! The addition of our floating dock has made our free weekly paddleboard demos and lessons more accessible to the scores of interested, fledgling SUPers every Saturday morning. Our new dock, situated next to Frenchy’s Seafood Company, is the ideal launch site for one of our brand new single or tandem kayaks. A short jaunt in a kayak can lead one to a private beach along our beautiful coast, or find yourself weaving through the maze of the Caledesi Island mangrove trails accessible only by kayak, or cast out in one of our prime fishing holes hidden throughout the flats of the intercoastal. Clearwater Beach Paddleboard Company team riders also competed in the 10,000 Islands Redbull Privateers race along Rookery Bay off of the coast of Marco Island. The 4 person team treasure hunt took place over a two and a half hour race-clock in which team strategy, speed and cooperation were all necessary to collect all the checkpoints sprinkled throughout the Blind Pass mangrove trails. The Clearwater Beach Paddleboard team was one of the few teams to successfully complete their mission and cross the finish line with time to spare! This was the first race of what will be an annual event, and our team riders highly recommend it, and look forward to catching you out in the water!
